So here's what happened today: I woke up to a lovely cup of tea, and ended up in the office around eight instead of nine as I just wasn't bothered with sitting around freaking out about potentially horrible customers. I got to watch the next couple of episodes of きみはペット and also played a bit of TF2 (though just with bots because I suck).
My parents came back with the post around 11-12, and my tea from T2 had arrived! ^^) _旦~~ Inside was matcha, a container for it (though I'd found out it actually came with one, and the container they sent me was huge anyway), and a freebie of silver needles. Yay! I'm still like a thousand and a half dollars off their top members society thing. I want birthday presents from them, gdi! Seeing as T2 was out of stock with the other supplies I'd need to make really good matcha tea I bought those off eBay instead... still waiting on those though (´Д⊂ｸﾞｽﾝ
The next portion of the day was spent watching きみはペット and playing TF2. Also caught up with my sister over Steam chat, and finished the day with a not so quick game of L4D2.
Today I watched: Young Justice: Invasion episode 20
First: Why do most superhero cartoons involve alien invasions? I mean, I don't mind too much, but why is it always aliens? orz
Second: I'm so cut that they've written out Asami. I mean, yeah, it would be annoying having to put her not understanding the majority of what's being said in and having someone speak in (bad) Japanese for her a lot, but come on! Also, Lex Luthor's Japanese makes me laugh so hard. So damn hard. Like, a couple of episodes ago he says this whole spiel in English to the guys and then turns to Asami and goes "I'll save you. Trust me." LOL WUT?!
Anyway! The Reach are gone! About time! I found them to be extremely boring to be honest. Like, they weren't really intimidating at all. I'm hoping the next big thing is more interesting. Or they could go more into stuff about the Light, that would be nice lol
So... I cried when Kid Flash disappeared, and again when Artemis went to tell his folks. Ahh, the tears streaming down my face at that point. !!!ｳﾜｰ((((爾△爾))))ー It still makes me sad. Funny thing was, I was just complaining to my sister that no one seems to die on-screen in YJ, and then Kid Flash just kind of fades away. Funny, and saddest thing I've seen recently. Fuck.
Also, Nightwing's taking a break. Nooo, come back, baby! You were the reason I started watching this show! (((((（*￣３￣） ちゅっちゅっちゅ～～ I am glad Barbara got promoted though... more airtime for awesome females, please! ((@´∀｀o[嬉しい]o
Today I played: Left 4 Dead 2: Dark Carnival
As per usual when playing with my sister and Dad, we played on expert. I tend to be overcautious when playing on expert so my kill count always sucks arse. (´∀｀； Oh well. We started off badly, well I was doing okay, but Sister decided since she'd died we'd restart the campaign. So we did. The next time wasn't much better but we made it through the first chapter.
The second one we did twice, and then mid the third one someone joined us. Now, that's not too unusual because it's an online game of course someone's going to join even if you do set your game as Friends Onlyit's never Friends Only. What's unusual was the person didn't suck (they were kind of okay actually), didn't interrogate us about why the hell we were even playing on expert in the first place, and didn't spam anything. It was nice... until they kept getting in the way.
The amount of times I picked up people in this game, jfc. Then Sister died in the fourth chapter... Sister usually leads so it was a little awkward because even the unknown person paused when it happened. Anyway, we moved on... with me having to stop people so we could kill the witch that would kill us later, and the next one too (which killed me because Dad and the unknown were too slow). I watched them play while I was dead, but ugh, I just couldn't be bothered any longer once they died. It was one too many restarts for me so I left.
Sister exited the game soon after and Dad had already quit and gone back to his coding apps. Maybe next time will be better.
