Thank you, きみはペット for reminding me.

So here's what happened today: Business course as per usual on Wednesdays (and Mondays, and Tuesdays), and as I always do I made myself a cup of tea as soon as I'd finished setting up my stuff♥ Unfortunately, the maybe two people who would have actually appreciated my Batman shirt were absent (._.) but then again with how big it was on me it might have been a bit awkward to see anyway lol

Class was, as always, uneventful and other than helping some people out with some questions not much was really done on the coursework front. Oops. I really need to get back into the habit of doing things; I have two booklets and a project to go, but I'm just not doing anything. Grah!

Around lunch time I left early because I was going to have food with my family again; we went to the Workers Club and played a bit of Keno. I won $13, and let it ride, but we left before I could find out if I won anything more with it. Nan and Pop won $8, and my parents won nothing because I have all the luck in this family, muahaha. I won't get to find out if I won anything until next time Nan and Pop go somewhere with Keno to check it for me... I hate waiting ((( ̄へ ̄井) フンッ

Got home and I read fic on my computer for a bit before my folks left for a job out of town. Nearly five hours and our dog whining like a mad thing later they finally come back. Tomorrow, they're both going out of town for a job again so I have to mind the office. At first I was going to be the one helping Dad, but he then remembered that (as he's hurt his back he can't pick up stuff) a lot of things would be heavy and he'd rather I not break things (or myself) trying to lift them. So, Mum's going with him instead and I'm going to mind the office for hours and hope I won't be bored out of my mind and that customers won't be mean.

The thing is that all the customers seem to hate me the majority of the time. It's like they seem to think that since my parents/the owners aren't there they can be rude all they want about their computer not being fixed. We had one customer who ignored me completely and yelled/threatened some soft toys/monitor cleaners we had lying around instead. That was scary. !!!!!!(゚ロ゚屮)屮 Annoyingly enough, the women were usually the worst to deal with. Even when I offered explanations they'd still talk over me and be mean and ugh.

So, I'm nervous about tomorrow. I hope it doesn't suck... especially since Mum told me to estimate their return time at two. We open at nine, this'll suck.

What I watched today: きみはペット  第1話 // Kimi wa Petto  Episode 1
I FORGOT HOW FREAKIN' ADORABLE MATSUJUN IS OHMYGOD. (#つ´Д`)つ。o○(愛してるヮ♪)

Now that that's out of the way (again)... I didn't really know the plot of this drama before I started watching it. I knew that the main character found a man on the street and made him her pet, and that was it. To be honest, even though I knew it'd be mainly innocent my mind still went to the kinky place. Oh well lol

Sちゃん wasn't very fond of the series when she watched it, but she's also not fond of that kind of relationship between characters/people. I think she mentioned that she couldn't even get past episode one? Maybe... I don't know, I don't remember. Either way, episode one! Let's go! ,,,,,,,,,,,,(((( *≧∇)ノノノ

So, Sumire's broken up with her boyfriend, everyone's scared of her at work, she can't laugh and she'd rather die than cry in front of people. Got it. Oh, and she punched her boss and got demoted. Yeah... that sucks. It's really kind of annoying how everyone's scared of her actually... she's apparently scary-good at her job so that's supposed to be the reason, but does this mean we're supposed to be scared of competent women? Like, a workmate started crying because she didn't finish the work Sumire asked her to do, and Sumire got blamed even though she just sighed and said she'd do the work herself like a boss. So what if she didn't comfort the other woman? She was doing her job! Then, her boss got punched because he was pushing Sumire to do something she wasn't comfortable with (in this case comforting a crying co-worker).

Anyway, after a run-in with her ex which I tuned out of because boring, she came across a box with what she thought was an animal inside... nope, well kinda nope, it was human. A very hurt human, who quickly gains a fever because suddenly rain. (Where the hell was grammatical sense when I wrote that sentence? That one too actually). She finally decides to just take him inside her apartment building (after a small altercation with her landlord) and patch him up.

The next day, there's a man with a comb asking a high school girl where her boyfriend Takeshi is. This, of course, makes her cry because they'd broken up. Her friends quickly come to her defence and publicly accuse the man of trying to get them to date him for money. Awkward!

Fast forwarding to Sumire returning from work that day to find the unnamed man awake and still in her apartment. Oh dear. He insists that he doesn't want to leave and that he wants to live with Sumire. He says he'll do anything, and Sumire (thinking of how she had thought he was a bit like her dog Momo at one point) asks whether he'd agree to be her pet. He says yes, agreeing that he has no pride when Sumire asks.

I really need to learn to stop just recapping things, so, quickly: Sumire names him Momo. Sumire tells her childhood friend about her new pet, childhood friend hates Momo (the feeling is mutual) and is a bit awkward with how comfortable they actually are together. Sumire and her ex talk more. Momo runs into comb-man and refuses to go anywhere with him. Oh, and all the women at Sumire's new workspace hate her. Also, the upper classman that Sumire used to have a crush on is back in Japan... and Sumire won't let Momo kiss her.

It's really quite fun so far. I feel kind of bad that I have zero interest in Sumire's previous relationship, but that seems to be resolved now anyway considering his current girlfriend is pregnant. Anywho, I'm off to watch episode two!

It's kinda weird, I was the one who actually recommended this drama to Sちゃん but she watched it before me. Ah well, that's happened a few times now. I'd say she has more free time, but I'd be lying lol I don't know how she does it, but she manages somehow.

Today I read: The first ten chapters of Kill Me If You Can by James Patterson. I'm definitely not sure what I think of this so far... the chapters are so tiny, and it feels like most sentences are just direct and to the point. It might just be his style, but I can't seem to get into it for some reason. The summary actually made it sound a bit like a Choose Your Own Adventure story, but after reading the first page it obviously wasn't. Anyway... it may be the writing style, or it may be the main character but I'm just not into this book yet. I guess I'll need to read some more.

I'm contemplating starting the new Traci Harding book I bought because I really liked one of her older series, but I'm really not sure what this one's going to be like. It's set in ancient China and first in a series called The Timekeepers (Book: Dreaming of Zhou Gong). I do like her writing, or I did anyway, and I'm really happy she's got a new series going, but I don't know. I'm just iffy about this book. Plus the pronunciation guide in the front of the book makes me laugh too much to take it seriously. I wish they'd at least put in the tones in the guide... I hate guessing which tones are the right ones. ( -з) プイッ

Today I played: Devil May Cry: Vergil's Downfall
Only got through Mission 3 today. I don't know why, but I can't rush through this one like I did with Dante's missions. Vergil just makes me sad... and everyone but his mum is a jerk to him in Hell. (*'へ'*)ぷんぷん Stop being mean to Vergil, gdi. I mean, I know this is supposed to help explain what happened to him before DMC3, yada yada yada... but it still doesn't excuse his actions (or his plans for actions I suppose) of trying to take over the human race.

Actually, what's annoying is in DMC he didn't even get a chance to do anything for his takeover plans. Well, other than the whole reveal the existence of demons thing and killing Mundus. It's just "Yeah, I did this so we could rule together brother!" They don't really try to talk him out of it that much, do they? It's all like "No Vergil! How could you?!" "You didn't care about Kat?! But without Kat we would have died!" blah, blah, blah, Vergil and Dante fight and Vergil gets stabbed. The end.

Then Vergil's trying to save Kat in the DLC! Uhhh, wait... what happened to not caring? Then she's horrible to him, and then Dante's horrible to him and it's not really them and ugh. Feelings. Funny thing is, I don't want this storyline right now! I want to know what caused him to want to takeover in DMC first! Then I wanna know about pre-DMC3 stuff! I wanna know these things, gdi!
