I forgot I even had this thing tbh.
Mar. 17th, 2013 05:53 pmWhich means I've once again deleted all my entries... might need to stop doing that. Oh well~~ New first entry!
So, here's what happened today: a fat load of nothing! On Friday, Dad and I bought a Breville teapot/tea kettle, and we've been using it basically non-stop all weekend. Mum wasn't as fond of our non-teabag tea at first, but we've since perfected our brews! (*°▽°*)For Dilmah's Ceylon tea anyway.
Going back some more to Tuesday, my class instructor mentioned to my advisor about a minor anxiety attack I'd had in class the week before so my advisor made me make an appointment with a counsellor for Monday. She also sprung a phone call on me mid-way through the conversation too, uh, no thank you! (((n;‘Д‘))η So the rest of that day was a little awkward... and it was ridiculously hard to even bring myself to attempt any work for the rest of that day too.
Fastforwarding back to today! I'm so, so, so nervous about this counselling meeting thing tomorrow. I missed a call from the Lifeline counsellor on Friday and was unable to check my messages until after their closing hours on Friday so I wasn't able to call them back. I should probably be honest actually, by unable to check my messages I mean I was too nervous/scared to check my messages because my phone didn't alert me of any missed calls and I was afraid it'd be something mean or my friend complaining because I didn't see her that day when I was in Newy or something. I don't know, I hate phones... and message bank. I hate them. So I hadn't checked my messages until six that night and they'd wanted me to call back before five, and I'm not sure if they were even open over the weekend, but it's too late now anyway so whatever.
I don't want to seem like a hopeless case. Or that I'm making it up. Or I don't know. I don't wanna go. I have to though. I agreed. (_ _|||)
Anyway... seeing as I want to break my entries into sections, let's go onto the next one.
Today I watched: うたの☆プリンスさまっ♪ // Uta no Prince-samaTo be honest, I'm only fond of romantic dating simulation games when I'm extremely bored or hanging out with Sちゃん, so when I found out they'd made one of the more famous ones into an anime I laughed. A lot. One minute into it and I was sick of their debut song (it will remain stuck in my head though, unfortunately).
The story follows Haruka and her journey to becoming a great song writer (well, musical composer) for her inspiration Hayato-sama! Well, that was her dream anyway... and it partially came true in the end I suppose. She ends up taking classes with the main guys (though some are in a 'special' class because they're so talented), and (unlike in the game, I believe) she has a female best friend in the anime. The story starts with a Haruka trying to get by the guards at the gate of her future school so she can take a test. In the process, she falls on her butt and is saved by two boys who are also there to take the test. Somehow, whether or not they can take the test isn't even an issue even though they're both late like Haruka, but Haruka is the only one the guards take issue with.
From there, she makes it into the school and her class, and along the line ends up befriending all the guys people fangirl over, and also finds her inspirational Hayato-sama!I'm imagining hearts everywhere every time I write something-something Hayato-sama! btw. It's hilarious. There ends up being an issue at the end of season one where the principal (I don't know what everyone is translating 学院長 as for this anime because I watch the RAWs only, but I'm gonna go with principal) won't let Haruka write music for the guys when he decides they're going to debut as idols, but of course everything gets resolved.
Okay, so I was not expecting to get as invested as I did in this series. I had zero interest in Hayato-sama!, but I did love Sho, glasses-free Natsuki, and Tomo. I kind of wanted Haruka and Sho to just team up and be awesome together and kick everyone's arses at the auditions, either those two or Haruka and Tomo to do the same thing except with kissing too. Unfortunately, I don't think that'll ever happen in うた☆プリ so I guess I'll just deal lol
Today I read: Some Teen Wolf fanfiction.
Unfortunately, it was all rereads of the same fics I've read before in the Danny/Stiles tag... maybe one day I'll have enough confidence to start writing some of my own. We don't know much about Danny though, I wish he was involved more. Hopefully next season♥
Today I played: Resident Evil 5
Can I say that I am so not fond of being unable to walk and shoot? I'd completely forgotten about that little issue since I hadn't played the older RE games in a while, and the last one I played was RE6 on the PS3 which doesn't have that issue (thank fuck for that).
So, anyway, this was the first time I'd played an RE game on the PC... and I have to say, I'm not fond of how Windows/Microsoft handles things. When I first opened the game, Windows warned me that there might be an issue and I might need to search for help online. Issue? Help? Pshaw! Who cares! I just wanna kill some zombies! The game wouldn't open after the DivX selection. Yeah. That kind of issue. Well.
I verified the game cache, just in case the game had downloaded wrong. Nope, it was perfect, but there was still an issue. "To Google!" I cried adjusting my headset as it slipped. Google was helpful. It turned out I needed Games for Windows Marketplace installed and an XBox Live/Windows Live account that I never wanted. One registration and installation later, and I was ready to go!
A little while in and Sheva's walking in my line of fire all the time. No, why?! Also, I keep thinking I can walk and shoot like in L4D... unfortunately not, I realised a second too late as a chainsaw came down on my jugular. Along with being killed twice by a zombie with a chainsaw, I've been run over by a truck two times as well. I'm just having zero luck with these zombies, man, and I'm only in chapter two or three lol Also I keep running out of room in my inventory... become magically larger, please!
To Do Tomorrow:
●Put away the clothes I keep moving from my chair to my bed and back
●Start project for Process Customer Complaints booklet in class
●Restart language study
●Watch 書店員ミチルの身の上話 or 私が恋愛出来ない理由
●Read 夏目友人帳第1~4巻
●Check uni moodle for assessments and assessment information
●Watch NHK more
